The Nefesh staff is dedicated to student success. Nefesh administrators and teachers combine professionalism, know-how, knowledge, and a keen understanding of the students. The Nefesh faculty teach students, not just subjects- they are available to their students after the bell rings and care about them long after graduation.
Nefesh is a New York State accredited High School, where students learn Judaic and General Studies which are relevant and challenging; academic and career oriented; thought-provoking and engaging.
The Nefesh Kodesh curriculum includes the traditional Chumash, Nach, Halacha, and Historia, and much more: Hashkafa, Foundations of Judaism, Halacha Lab, Hebrew Fluency, and Contemporary Issues, lay foundations for students to be the proud torchbearers for the next generation, able to navigate the challenges of the world as proud Jewish women.
The Nefesh General Studies Curriculum includes the core subjects of Math, English, Science and History, with additional subjects including Nutrition, Finance, Current Events, Labs and Job Readiness Minis.
Art, Music, Gym, Home Economics, Hair Design, and many other electives round out a curriculum of life-preparedness.
Tracked classes give individual girls the opportunity to be academically satisfied and challenged: a place to excel.
Monthly trips, Shabbatons, Yom Tov programs, sports, Yemei Iyun, Afterschool activities and so much more, enable Nefesh students to enjoy their high school years in a positive environment.
